She
received a double major in Public Relations and Advertising and Theater
Arts. She was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars
and a member of the Beta Rho Chapter of Lamda Phi Iota, which is the
Communications Honor Society.

current economic market dictates that companies hire employees who have
multiple talents and can contribute to the bottomline,” said Wynona
Redmond, president of NBPRS, who mentored Johnson at Dominick’s.
“After a two-year internship in the Public Affairs Division at
Dominick’s, Ashley has demonstrated that she can enter the job market
and make a measurable and immediate impact.”

Johnson
also worked at WeberShandwick in
Chicago, under the guidance of the Chicago
chapter president David Rudd. Rudd,
who is the Vice President of Multicultural Affairs for WeberShandwick,
allowed Johnson to utilize her pitching, writing and community relations
skills
that she acquired while working at Dominick’s.
