The Board of the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS) is moving forward to shape this organization into a viable tool for its practitioners. In an effort to showcase our membership, the NBPRS Board will accept submissions for the 2010 Experts Guide.

Beginning Monday, January 5, 2010 - Friday, March 19, 2010, members who are interested in being featured in the 2010 NBPRS Experts Guide should submit a 200-word synopsis about their career, a headshot (at least 300 pixels) and a list of previous jobs held. The list of past employment should only have the job title, dates of hire and the city and state in which you have worked.

Please email the text and photo to ExpertsGuide@nbprs.org
(Please include Experts Guide in the subject line)

Participation in the Experts Guide is free. The submitter should note the following below:

  • Must be an NBPRS member in good standing as of October 1, 2009

  • Carefully review your submission, as it will appear in the manner that it was submitted. Grammatical and punctuation errors may reflect negatively on the submitter.

  • Please do that exceed the 200-word count or your copy will be edited or excluded depending on the amount of entries.

  • Due to the number of participants, submissions that do no meet the above standards may be excluded or edited without the submitter's approval. Therefore, it is important to submit the material in the manner you would like it to appear.

The NBPRS Experts Guide will be distributed to major PR firms throughout the country and abroad.  It will act as a recruiting tool for the organization and help NBPRS to assist companies trying to diversity their workforce.
